Halfway day!
Did you hear it? Did you watch it? Did you see God's name actually brought up in the debate? Praise God for last night!
God answered our prayers for revelation of the hearts of the candidates in the debate. They were both eloquent, weren't they? But eloquence is not truth and words can be hollow. Promises can be broken and half-lies spoken. But the man who is willing to stand up for the Lord will be righteous.
In Revelations 3:8 God proclaims, "I know your deeds. . . you have kept my Word and have not denied my name." For me the whole night was a triumph and a victory for the cause of truth and for the American people. We must have leaders who acknowledge Him and their dependence on God for their wisdom and strength.
Pray:
* To pray as never before, asking God to turn the tide in our nation this year.
* Lord, have mercy upon us, our children & grandchildren. Deliver us and our country from evil.
* Praise you, Father, for raising up a God-fearing man to strive to be our leader
.
* Please, Father, give America cause to rejoice this year, as we put our faith in your will alone.
* As we cry out to you, Father. while we can, give us a gracious turning back to You.
In Jesus name, Amen
