I put the word "prayer" back into my heading to remind myself that prayer is what will make the difference in this election! Not fact-finding, analysis, polls or hard work. These things are important, yes, but we as believers must pray. Ask God, don't suggest to God, or couch your pleas in timid words. Be bold. Go to Him and ask Him!
Today, I am short on this post because I am right now going to God. Also, if you live in this area, please join me and pastors and believers for an Awakening, a citywide prayer meeting on Sunday, October 28 from 5-7 pm. It will be held at UTA at the College Park Center. If you want to go with me, message me or come over here around 4:15.
Pray:
* Father, give us boldness to come before your throne and ask specifically for what we want.
* God, let us rest in your promise to answer us, as we seek the best for this election.
* Help us, Holy Spirit, to be filled with the goodness, peace and love of our Savior.
* Thank you, God, for your abundant blessings we enjoy every day.
